How it works

One hybrid system. Three ways it keeps you on.

A hybrid inverter decides, second by second, where your power comes from. Switch the scenario to see how energy moves through a Sol-A-Way install.

Your buildingRunning on solar

Panels power the house first. Surplus solar charges the battery, and the grid waits on standby.

Solar array
Monocrystalline panels on a rail-mounted roof or ground array, angled for Zimbabwe's sun.
Hybrid inverter
Balances solar, battery and grid, and switches over on its own when the power drops.
Lithium battery
LiFePO4 storage rated for thousands of cycles. Add modules later as you grow.
Protection
DC isolation, AC breakers, surge protection and a changeover switch on every install.

Questions

Straight answers before you buy.

Can't see yours? Call or WhatsApp the technical team any time.

Ask on WhatsApp
How long do lithium batteries last?

The LiFePO4 batteries we install are typically rated for 6,000 or more charge cycles. Cycled once a day, that is well over a decade of service. Exact ratings vary by brand and model, and the datasheet comes with your quote.

Will my appliances notice when ZESA goes off?

Hybrid inverters switch to battery power automatically and fast enough that lights, TVs, routers and most computers carry on. Sensitive equipment can go on its own protected circuit.

Can solar run my borehole pump or geyser?

Borehole pumps, yes. We size the inverter for the motor's start-up surge, or install a dedicated solar pumping system. For hot water we usually recommend a solar geyser instead, because heating water from batteries is an expensive use of stored energy.

Can I start small and add more later?

Yes. We leave headroom in the inverter, and most lithium batteries we fit can be expanded with extra modules of the same model.

Do you offer payment plans?

We offer fix-and-supply payment plans, including for schools. Ask for the options when you request your quote.

What maintenance does a system need?

Very little. Panels need regular cleaning, more often in the dry, dusty months, and the system should be checked periodically. Our maintenance and after-sales service covers both, with 24/7 technical support.

Do you install outside Bulawayo?

Yes. We're based in Bulawayo and install across Zimbabwe, from supermarkets in Maphisa and banks in Gwanda to schools nationwide.
